What is Tracely? On-chain forensics for everyone

2026-07-24 · 2 min read · Tracely

Every wallet leaves a trail. Shared deposit addresses, gas funding, timing, behavior — on a public ledger, one address is rarely alone.

Tracely reads that trail. Paste a single address and it uncovers the cluster of wallets connected to it, follows the money across chains, and scores what it finds — the same way tax authorities and compliance teams do it.

No account. No wallet connection. Free.

What Tracely actually does

Wallet clustering. One person almost never uses one wallet. Tracely auto-links wallets one owner controls using shared-deposit heuristics, gas-funding graphs and behavioral patterns. The Bybit exploit is the reference case: starting from a single deposit address, clustering expanded to 5,147 linked wallets and $1.5B traced.

Cross-chain tracing. Funds don't stop at a bridge, so neither does the trace. Tracely follows flows through bridges, exchanges and mixers across 16 EVM chains plus SUI and Bitcoin — Ethereum, BSC, Polygon, Arbitrum, Base, Optimism, Avalanche, zkSync, Linea, Scroll, Mantle, Blast, Fantom, Gnosis, Tron and more, in one view. The Cetus exploit's $223M path across SUI, Ethereum and THORChain stayed readable end to end.

AML risk scoring. Every address gets checked against 17 risk categories — OFAC and sanctions lists, Tornado Cash and other mixers, no-KYC exchanges, stolen-funds exposure and more.

Live data, not stale indexes. Tracely scans directly from RPC nodes at query time instead of serving pre-indexed snapshots. What you see is the chain as it is now.

How it works

  1. Paste an address. Any wallet, any supported chain. No signup.
  2. Tracely maps the cluster. Shared deposits, gas funding and behavior link wallets to one owner.
  3. Follow the money. Bridges, exchanges, mixers — traced and risk-scored.

Who it's for

Protocols and exchanges screen deposit addresses in bulk, monitor treasuries and embed live risk scores on their own site with a one-iframe widget — no contract, no cost.

Individuals check their own exposure: which wallets are publicly linkable to you, and what a compliance desk would see before you interact with one. One address reveals more than you think — paste yours and see.

Why free?

Enterprise forensics tooling runs $18K–$700K a year, which locks this visibility away from the people it affects most. Tracely's core — tracing, clustering, risk scoring — is free. The data is public; the ability to read it should be too.

Someone can already trace your wallets. See what they see.
